What is Fraxel re:store?

Fraxel re:store has been used safely in nearly 500,000 treatments worldwide. However, the procedure is not without risk. Potential side effects include prolonged redness, swelling, blistering, infection, pigmentary changes, herpes reactivation and acne flare-up.

Does it hurt?

Most patients describe an icnrease sensation of heat during the treatment. To minimize discomfort, a topical anesthetic agent is aplied before the procedure and cold air is used on the treatment area during the procedure. After treatment, most patients feel like they have a sunburn, which usually diminishes in 1 to 3 hours.
