What is Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is procedure in which the skin is exfoliated mechanically. It involves the skin being sand blasted by focused columns of fine sterile, inert, Corundum crystals. These crystals collide with the outer layer of the skin removing cells of the skins outer-most layer. Microdermabrasion is a clinically proven technique for treating fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, and hyperpigmentation. This technology planes and refines the skin texture allowing your skins natural regeneration process to diminish imperfections.

How many treatments will I need?

For the best and fastest results a series of 6 treatments spaced one week apart is recommended. Maintenance once a month is recommended to maintain your fresh look.

Is there any down time?

Your skin may be a little sensitive and pink for about 30 minutes to one hour but you'll be able to apply makeup immediately following your treatment if necessary.
